There are many worthy charities out there, and we’d love to support them all, however these select charities are close to our hearts:

Tommy’s exists to save babies’ lives. They fund research into the causes and prevention of pregnancy complications that lead to miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth.

Pregnancy loss is devastating. Tommy’s was started by two obstetricians who were frustrated with the scale of pregnancy loss in the UK. 1 in 4 women lose a baby during pregnancy or birth.

Each day:

2,129 babies are born in the UK

9 babies are stillborn

684 babies are miscarried

157 babies are born preterm

This is unacceptable.

There is a desperate need for funding into maternal and fetal research. When a parent is told their baby has died in pregnancy or birth, or their baby is born too soon, they are often also told that the medical teams do not know why it happened. This is because the causes of miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth are not yet understood.

Tommy’s is dedicated to finding answers and finding treatments to prevent these deaths happening.

Due to the success of OddBalls as a male-focused underwear company, in May 2014 The OddBalls Foundation was founded. Through this they hope to make a difference to male health around the world. The Foundation only exists through the sale of OddBalls products and donations, so thank you if you have bought some from our online shop!

100% of all money donated to the Foundation is used to raise awareness of Testicular Cancer. OddBalls as an underwear business covers all of the day to day running costs of the charity, so you can be sure that every penny that is raised for the Foundation is used to spread the awareness of Testicular Cancer and nothing else. This isn’t something many charities can claim.

To date, thousands of pounds has been raised. This money is being used to complete our first aim – fitting check yourself guides into male toilets and changing rooms across the country.
